Layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) are a rapidly emerging class of materials with remarkable physical properties and immense potential across diverse applications, including nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, spintronics, and valleytronics. These materials hold promise for revolutionizing the semiconductor industry, thanks to their unique characteristics and tunability.
In light of the exciting advancements in this field, we are pleased to announce a special Focus Point issue dedicated to "Layered Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs): Properties, Engineering, and Applications". This issue aims to bring together the latest research and developments, with a particular emphasis on synthesis, characterization, innovative applications, and thermal properties, such as thermoelectricity and thermal transport.
